trilingual

tonight's blog isn't going to be very interesting, much like my day today. i slept in til around 10.30 and for some reason woke up on the wrong side of the bed. so obviously, that caused a chain reaction and the rest of my day kind of messed up a little bit. after procrastinating for a bit, we went to walmart to buy some groceries and laundry detergent (finally) and shampoo and conditioner (because believe it or not dad, i've run out already!) while on the bus heading to walmart, i realized i forgot my credit card. so we had to get out at the current stop to wait for another bus, because if not we would have had to do the entire route of the previous bus. so after getting home, getting my card and heading back to the bus stop, we literally made it JUST in time! so made it through walmart safe and sound, with no other unnecessary interruptions. on the way back home though, i was on my phone, and then the thing drops out of my hand, and bounces and rolls a little bit and stopped RIGHT before the door of the bus. i think my heart stopped for about 20 seconds. it obviously landed in pieces, but it's working as good as new now, priase god! this evening was much better. i did my laundry, in between watching a movie with a friend. so just chilling out got me in a better mood. i came home, and me and all the roommates were just liming together, listening to spanish music again. the new roommate (who's from japan by the way!) must think we're crazy with spanish music and chat flying all over the place. i sometimes can't understand everything that's going on, but i am getting better at spanish, and feeling quite proud of myself. my number one goal is to be fluent in spanish by the time i'm done. i have half a year to become bilingual (or trilingual if i EVER meet an italian!!) or maybe i'll just learn some japanese, but i figure that may be a tad difficult. oh well, the possibilities never end! tomorrow's another day off so i get another sleep in! you have no idea how much you must treasure those days when you're up here. early mornings and late nights are absolutely endless and insane. well, that's all i have for tonight. i just put on a sweater straight out of the dryer which feels amazing - so comfy! along with the new foam thing we put on our beds that we bought tonight. prior to that, our beds were like sleeping on the floor but it's so lovely now! hope all is well at home, as usual. much love to everyone!
